Dr. Rod Kingston, MD
Rod Kingston, MD, is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Chicago and Peoria, where he earned his Medical Degree in 1982. During his family practice residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, he served as Chief Resident and Chair of the Illinois Conference of Family Practice Residents.
Dr. Kingston served as Physician and Medical Administrator of McKinley Health Center at the University of Illinois, Urbana, from 1982 to 1995. While holding his position at McKinley Health Center, he completed the Executive MBA program under university sponsorship.
In 2000 he completed a residency in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee where he served as Chief Resident and won the Hollander Award for Outstanding Performance by a Psychiatry Resident.
Dr. Kingston has been in private practice with A&E Behavioral HealthCare Associates since 2001. His interest is in general adult psychiatry with a focus in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy.
