Assessments
A&E offers objective assessment instruments to assist in accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment interventions. The instruments most frequently utilized in therapy are depression and anxiety inventories.
Additional Testing and Psychological Services are made available through our Licensed Psychologist, Beverly Matthews. Beverly offers testing for children and teens, age 4-19, for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, mood disorders, learning disabilities, Asperger’s syndrome, and communication problems.
For adults, testing services include Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, mood disorders, head injuries, stroke, dementia screenings, disability evaluations, bariatric evaluations, and evaluation for competency to stand trial. Beverly will also go directly into nursing homes and the Macon County Jail to complete evaluations as needed.
